Dad and I are working on a web page for Thomas Harward V (1826-1901). It uses a template from "The Next Generation of web pages." Pretty basic, but I'm excited! Every day we get more up and going on it!!
It seems that I am always working on genealogy. I peruse Ancestry.com with relish and have been searching for names on Google Images recently. Amazing what is out there! I am finding other sites with documentation, my favorites include Footnote.com and pilot.familysearch.org. I belong to the NEHGS, but haven't been as successful at their website as I would like. I joined hoping to find the last bit of documentation so I could join the Mayflower Society. We just need a birth record on one ancestor..... In the meantime, I've taken turns researching my dad's parents, his step mother's family, my mom's family - though it's pretty thoroughly done. Then there's my husband's family.... Lots of investigating fun still out there!
I'm a mom, wife, student, genealogist and I love my lap top. I like to laugh and read. And be with family. I did the breast cancer thing in May 2008 - lumpectomy, nodes, chemotherapy, radiation....
Dec 2008 was my last radiation but alas, alak, those tests are not to be trusted!
This past Fall I had a bulging disc in my back. A miracle "pain." An MRI in Sep 2009 showed the disc and... cancer. Did a bone scan and found more. I've broken my right arm - (pathological break a couple weeks ago just for interest), had back and brain surgery most recently and will begin radiation soon. Apparently, the breast cancer was lurking around in my bones all this time and no one figured it out! Good thing God is on board and is taking great care of me... us... everyone:)
